Laura Lawton will deliver the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home’s annual holiday reading of Truman Capote’s classic story, “A Christmas Memory.” Don't miss this popular tradition! This free & open to the public event is held in memory of Dr. Robert Strozier, one of three founders of the Flannery O’Connor Childhood Home Foundation who together in 1989 purchased Flannery’s home at 207 East Charlton Street on Lafayette Square in Savannah, saved it for posterity, and opened the Home to the public as Savannah’s only depression-era house museum and a must-see for lovers of southern literature.
